Lanterns on HBO is yet another DC television series. Somewhat clever but soulless. Chris Mundy direction and the writing team of Mundy, Damon Lindelof, & Tom King rarely rises above the level competent. Kyle Chandler & Aaron Pierre deliver mildly compelling performances.
