Michael Shannon and Jessica Chastain are fantastical in Showtime’s George and Tammy limited series but having to slop through another bio-pic is beyond intolerable. I can’t stomach another A Star is Born type story. Creator Abe Sylvia and director John Hillcoat can’t sustain enough interest based on episode one.
