Harry Styles was exceptional playing a closeted gay man in England in the 1950s. Although My Policeman was a slow burn with little emotional resonance, I was mesmerized by Harry Styles. This historical documentation of what life was like for the LGBTQ community is a story that needs to be told–just wish it had a more compelling script and direction.
