This Latino remake of Father of the Bride fails to engage despite gorgeous Miami scenery and a touching performance by Gloria Estefan-Andy Garcia seems to be walking through the part. It feels like you are watching a second rate television series—flat trite dialogue and lame comedy undercut any charm that existed in prior versions of the usually tried and true story.
