With lame attempts at humor and ridiculous political sci-fi satire you’ll have to be patient to grasp any morsels of entertainment during this sub-standard over two-hour opus. Just to watch Leonardo De Caprio, Meryl Streep, and Jennifer Lawrence make fools of themselves isn’t quite enough to make this worthwhile. But based on my sister’s suggestion, you’ll be rewarded by an ending that makes the torturous viewing digestible.
