This guilty pleasure documentary follows the trajectory for the college admission scandals that rocked the celebrity and wealthy parent world a few years back. The film does a superb job of reenactments by using actual well-known performers portraying the villains. It’s all here: explanation of side and back doors into universities, cheating on SAT exams, and the arrests. Mathew Modine as Rick Singer gives a brilliant performance. You know you are in good hands because it’s the work of Chris Smith the director of Tiger King.
