Poem of the Week-Juggler

Sweetzer steps led me to the juggler

Flying batons hypnotized me

Slipping through his fingers

Smiling and repeating

Towards perfection

Engulfed in the exercise

Dancing from arm to arm

Hand to hand

Choreographing the balls

Eyes wide concentration

Six months ago, I’d created the same juggler

For my novel

Now brought to life

“I wrote a story about you”

A squashed reaction from

The juggler

Ended my fantasy

Until I encountered the

Magician Juggler

Two weeks later

In Kings Road Park

Recognition between us

My words, “You’re improving”

Returned a miracle smile
