The Four Winds

This was a first for me while reading a book. Crying so defiantly that I had to stop reading. The story about American Texas migrants during the depression during a drought who travel to California to pick cotton is a timely endeavor. The struggles with unions is beautifully told through the eyes of Elsa and her children, abandoned by her husband in Texas will not only rip your tear ducts but will give you hope for our future after having survived the pandemic.
