Poem of the week-Clotted Nightmare

bitter foul taste in my mouth.

 Heaving the lumpy phlegm

Red states balloon into my mouth

Wad of blood escapes

Porcelain sink captures the evidence

Flushed away

24-nurse calms me

On-call physician delivers peace

Urgent care avoided

blood dissolves

No spitting seepage

Sleep comes in accordion fits

Fear of bloody episodes

Averted

Morning symptoms gone

But during masked walk

Mouth fills with phlegm

Trapped from spitting

Red devil returns

Uncontrolled

Urgent care calls me

Heart and pressure

Race to the moon

Diagnosis

Bloody nose

Without nostrils leakage

Clotted
