Defeating Jacob is a magnificent read and an exceptional limited series on Apple Plus. The similar plot to The Bad Seed makes for compelling reading and viewing. Fourteen year-old  Jacob has been accused of murder. The story revolves around whether Jacob inherited an “evil gene” and how the accusation and trial impacts his parents. This is a page turner and a binge worthy streaming event.
