I’ve been listening to the hits of 1982 on Spotify and had forgotten about the group Air Supply. Two Less Lonely People in the World was one of their minor hits. This soft pop duo made melodramatic cliché-ridden music with key changes stolen from Barry Mannilow. Just the kind of stuff I was shamelessly addicted to. These schlocky lyrics make me cry. Must be awakening a deep-seated emotional starvation during this never-ending crisis.
