Peaky Blinders is a phenomenal Net Flix series. We are in Godfather/ Soprano territory during the 1920’s in Birmingham, England. With Cillian Murphy as Thomas Selby, the head of the gangster family, you can’t look away from his deeply expressive eyes, stunning cheek bones and subtle compelling acting. The first six episode for season one are irresistible. This is binging at its finest. Thirty episodes are currently available. Shakespearean writing takes us on a journey as we discover the hidden humanity of these characters that boarder on monsters.

Tried it.No, I still don’t like period pieces. And I don’t care for when people are speaking English and I don’t understand every thing thy are saying But it was interesting that it took place in 1918,the year of the deadly Spanish Flu! Did they play a role in this? I couldn’t continue watching it but I wonder if there was a lesson in there for us
