Poem of the Week-Thirteen

Unlucky thirteen

Philosophy teacher

Explained the phenomena

Judas was thirteenth apostle

Cursed thirteen

I’m not a superstitious person.

Walking under a ladder,

Looking at a cracked mirror

Stepping on a crack

Spilling salt

666 is meaningless

Friday the 13th is non event

Myths don’t believe in fate

Thirteen transcends religion and culture

Skips hotel floors

Bounces streets

Avoid addresses

But Malignant thirteen is salvaged

By the Bar and Bat Mitzvah
