The famous McCabe’s Guitar shop blessed Laemmle Live with a showcase of their teachers and students. Emma Peterson broke our sensibilities with Broken Halos by Chris Stapleton as she played her banjo and vocalized the tune. John Rosen’s students sheltered us with Foggy Mountain Breakdown by Ellie Chaika, Kitchen Girl by Max Goddard and Big Sciota by Rosy Nolan. The morning program ended with the musings by Lawrence Lebo from her last six releases. And all was well in Santa Monica.
