These free (except for $15.00 parking fee) outdoor concerts at The Skirball Cultural Center are a beautiful way to spend the remaining Thursdays in August. The comfortable seats beg for picnic dinner and spiritual conversations with the audience. The Klezmatics brought their brand of innovative Jewish music to the crowd that included dance participation as the evening came to a close under a star filled sky. Their thirty-year history makes them seasoned performers with the ability to excel at many different musical instruments. The highlight of the evening was their take on Woody Guthrie tunes with a Yiddish spin. Notice my husband dancing during the concert with a mysterious woman.
Remember when they were at the park next door?
