Lisa Unger’s “Under My Skin” is an o.k. mystery. The unreliable narrator only makes the mystery more convoluted. Despite an unsatisfying climax/ending/resolution, this well written novel keeps you engaged. The grief associated with the murder of Poppy’s husband during his jog is enough of a premise to raise the novel above the run of mill cryptic plot.
