Just took a brisk walk to our favorite neighborhood establishment IL Forno on 2901 Ocean Park. We soaked up their delicious food which included a delicate chicken vegetable soup and FRUTI Di MARE All’ ADRIATICA (heavenly beets and shrimp) as appetizers and a gluten free pasta with scallops, bunashimeji and maitake mushrooms in a black truffle pesto. My husband had an angel hair pasta with shrimp, chopped vegetables, garlic, olive oil, basil and cognac. Not gluten free but we won’t hold that against him. The dessert was a superior coconut sorbet. This orgasmic meal will be treasured in our memory.
