Roma-Poem of the Week

Black and white oceans form a family

Lungs expunge water logs

Migrating still images

Erase muddy sand

Itching through suits

The fleshy bubbling womb

Tackling the cord of riches

Corny calcium nutrients

Boning up

Vultures circling immigrants

Blood faith sealed with a kiss

Is God shining through the clouds?

Crushing waves tear apart souls

Staple the woven emotional baskets back

I wait for the warmth to stab my bones

As I slack no iota comes.

Chain links hover

Constituents flee

Sanctuary protection

Slats of steely determination

Free floating
