Thoroughbreds Film Review

Thoroughbreds is a creepy film. It falls into the vein of Beautiful Creatures where two young girls plan a murder. The last performance by the late Anton Yelchin is heartbreaking. He nails his role with energy and empathy. This is a moody measuredly paced thriller that periodically can frustrate you. There is a playful wickedness that saves the film along with the universally superior acting. Nice to see on a large screen but will probably be worth the wait for net flix.
