Signal One is an intriguing, ideas-driven sci‑fi thriller on Hulu, written & directed by Jonathan Sobol with strong performances from Isabelle Fuhrman, Dennis Quaid, David Thewlis, and Josh Hutcherson as a first-contact experiment meeting aliens. Unfortunately there is a lot of science mumbo jumbo that slows the film down despite some effective and spiritual dialogue.
