Jane Austen UnScripted at Kings Road Park in WeHo, CA is worth seeing. This is not a traditional staging of a Jane Austen novel. Instead, Impro Theatre creates an entirely improvised Regency-era comedy based on an audience suggestion. Every performance is different, which is part of the appeal. The actors build a new Austen-style story in real time, complete with romance, social misunderstandings, witty dialogue, and period manners. Free event sponsored by the city of West Hollywood.
