Directed by Julia Hart & written by Laura Hankin, Hart,& Jordan Horowitz, Don’t Say Good Luck on Netflix is carried by Sunny Sandler and Melanie Lynskey’s tender, emotionally grounded lead performances, which give this teen musical (using most of the songs from the broadway musical Waitress) drama its genuine heart and quiet power.
