The Last White Man by Mohsin Hamid has a fascinating premise that dissipates as we trek to the end-In what should have been a moving conclusion, the reader is left in an emotionally cold vacuum. Still, there is enough great writing that will unleash conversation that it becomes a worthwhile read.
