Poem of the Week-Get Back to The Garden

Incestuous

Rubber and cactus

Suck the drought

Infested balcony

Sweeping dust

Parched dirt

Worn out grey tiles

Disintegrating grout

Humidity roaring

Blanched earth

Searching for roots

Flowerless or flourless

Waiting to perk me up

Seedlings

Waving hello and goodbye
