The Lincoln Lawyer is a lesser effort by David Kelley, the master creator of Ally McBeal and The Practice. Despite the adorable, engaging and charismatic Manuel Garcia-Rulfo in the lead, the flat dialogue and predicable plot turns turns the series a take it or leave it experience.
