This is a documentary about the 15th anniversary of the musical Spring Awakenings. Having the cast reflect on their experiences and how it has affected their life fifteen years later makes for a compelling film. Raw honesty rules the day and there is a poignancy as Jonathan Groff talks about his struggles with his sexuality. And seeing and hearing Lea Michele makes you scratch your head as to why she wasn’t cast in the Funny Girl revival.
