If you are interested in watching this version of Funny Girl that had a revised book by Harvey Fierstein, the entire musical is available on Youtube. This should be similar to the revival that just opened on broadway with Beanie Feldstein tackling the iconic role. You’ll have a chance to see the tweaking that Harvey has made along with additional songs that weren’t in the 1964 show. I saw Funny Girl when I was in London and found it entertaining and Sheridan Smith almost made me forget about the originator of the Fanny Brice character created by Barbra Streisand. Beanie doesn’t seem to have been a lucky girl based on the reviews.
