The documentary is more of a puff piece, rather than an in depth look at Clive Davis. But the breadth of the artists he discovered or helped make comebacks is extraordinary. This is an excellent companion piece to his autobiography by the same name. Compelling viewing even if there is too much Whitney Houston and the musical clips are very abbreviated.
