Poem of the Week-Hands

White knuckles

Grinding passion for

Off-kilter digits

Frosting crush

Grabbing my waist

Tickling Brillo underarms

No veins

No marks of deception

Uneven fingernails

Without a scar or speck

Bleached emotions

Pinched snow

Freezing a time

Passion fruit hug

Colorless sex

Wrestling the past

With the speckled present

Blotchy ridges

Rising to the surface

Unrecognizable hands

Still hope for rhyming
