Frances Mcdormand as Lady Macbeth rules this screen adaption of the play. The rips through the role like a loose tiger. The black and white photography is other worldly with dissolves and images that will adhere to your brain long after the end. The rest of the cast has trouble competing with three time academy award winner McDormand with line delivery and understanding the Shakespeare text.
