The Dinner List

I knew that reading another book from an author who wrote a compelling novel, was a risky endeavor. Could she recreate the magic of “In Five Years”? An interesting premise that dives into romance cliches. Sabrina asks the five most important people in her life—father, professor, lover, best friend and actress Audrey Hepburn to a restaurant. The plot flips between the dinner party and her past and how these five people connect. It wears thin and loses any emotional pull.
