Despite a confusing method of flipping back and forth in time, the sense of dread keeps the binging level on high alert. The ability to take the various cliché ridden filmmaking techniques that use a true crime story, cat and mouse plot turns, and disguising characters, and make it seem fresh is mind boggling. The tale of a emotion less gem dealer who drugs, murders and burns tourists, and never gets caught is stranger then your brain can handle.
