Director Judd Apatow has his pulse on these millennials characters and co-writing the script with Pete Davidson brings a brash authenticity. This tribute to Davidson’s father vacillates between juvenile humor and pathos never quite feeling comfortable with either. Bill Burr and Marisa Tomei shine in supporting roles. At two hours and twenty minutes, it borders on being self-indulgent. There are some rewards sticking with the film if you are willing and able to be patient.
Maybe i will try it
