This series takes place shortly after WW2 at a restaurant in Stockholm. A Swedish Downton Abbey filled with delicious food and melodrama. The class system is in full force again. You’ll forgive the contrivances because the cast of characters propels the story line with intrigue and intelligence. The series beautifully deals with sexuality. And in this time of Covid and horrific politics ,the guilty pleasure of watching people eat and drink lavishly makes for compelling binging.
