Poem of The Week-School Fall

August winds down

Crisp barbecues stopped

Mosquitos took a vacation

Quick sun showers retreated

Summer plums dried up

A dead ending summer

Bursting Garden City Park

School days

The bird nest hiding

Behind my air conditioner

Ready to fly

Clean lined notebook

Ringing black binder

Pasty white reinforcers

Buster brown shoes

Snappy pencils

Ink pens

Punching holes at me

Solitary walk

Through sneezing grass

Crunching leaves

Falling through

The looking glass

Before virtual masked

Virus Learning Existed
