The Outsider limited series on HBO is one of the better Stephen King adaptation. The glue that holds this ten- part episode together is the grounding in reality reaction to the supernatural elements. The cast is impeccable with special shout out to Cynthia Erivo, Mare Winningham and Ben Mendelsohn. The finale is a mixture of bewilderment and rip roaring violent entertainment. A good distraction.
