Brian Fallon is a recent discovery. He released a single Twenty Days that pulled me apart. I immediately gravitated to his last full album called Sleepwalkers. I admit I’m a sucker for anything that sounds like Bruce Springsteen or John Mellencamp. And Brian satisfied my addiction with the mixture of ripe lyrics, rock roots, gospel and a rich authentic voice. Kicking off with If Your Prayers Don’t Get to Heaven you realize you will fall under his spell. I relish the snare drum in Forget Me Not. Brian snarls beautifully throughout the twelve tracks. The last track is a stunning acoustic spiritual masterpiece called See You on The Other Side.
