Poem of the Week-Mindless

Mindful meditation has been failing

The sweet spot of being free of thought

Gets clouded by anxiety

The philosophy class

Taught by Dr. Charles Marcus

Delves into the Spinoza Factor

Expelled from the Jews in

The middle 1600’s because

He questioned when the mind

Sees a lack of power

His belief in a nature filled

Universe.

Blasphemous

No God

The concept of what connects

Us

No objects, Only atoms

Focusing on breath

What triggers the intake

Of oxygen

A linked universe

Chained together

In a mindless space

Free falling

nerves

Praying 2020

Will turn

Scraps to happy

trepidation
