Eddie Murphy is excellent in this bio-pic about down and out Rudy Moore. This is in the Ed Wood and The Disaster Artist vein of the making of a bad film. A few furious laughs combined with sweet spots relating to the family atmosphere of the film crew recreated in the film, make for uneven entertainment. This movie isn’t for everyone. But kudos for reviving Eddie Murphy’s career and spotlighting an unsung hero Rudy Moore.
Ok who is Rudy Moore?
