As I learn my craft of stand-up comedy it was paramount that I experience Hannah Gadsby. Her one-hour Netflix special called Nanette goes beyond performance art, standup, or drama. She grabs you by the throat and brings you to the crust of spiritual awakening. She rips you apart and then spits you out to cleanse the anger and tension we keep buried.
