Years and Years is a wild ride. Combining sci-fi and This Is Us makes for compelling television if you can stomach the nightmarish political commentary. Just to see the charismatic Russel Tovey as a gay Manchester England city government employee might be enough to make this a worthwhile journey. Of course having Emma Thompson around is always rewarding.
