When I heard Terry Gross drill Howard Stern in her two-part fresh air, I thought that has to be the podcast of the week. Despite his growth and redemption from years of therapy Terry still wanted to hold him accountable for his treatment of women earlier in his career. Ultimately the episode about the issue with generic drugs seemed more important. Katherine Eban has a book called “Bottle of Lies” and you’ll think twice about taking any generic medicine. With government regulations at an all time low it isn’t a surprise that we find generics coming from India and other countries are filled with ingredients not suitable for human consumption. We are talking risks that could cause death. You’ll need a strong stomach to hear this podcast.
