Neal enjoyed his two loaded with blueberries buttermilk pancakes, poached eggs and turkey sausage at Lazy Daisy Café in Santa Monica. A beautiful, finally the sun came out, Sunday afternoon brunch is the perfect occasion to visit this restaurant. My chicken, avocado, and goat cheese omellete went down easily with roasted potatoes and freshly cut pineapple. Normally gluten free bread would be available but a 2 P.M. it was no longer an option. I donated my olive bread that was included to Neal’s swimming weight training diet. The $13.00 dishes seem pricey to me but I guess the days of an under $10.00 breakfast type brunch are long gone.
