The documentary Studio 54 is an o.k. film. For those of you that want to time travel back to the 1970’s when this club brought out Liza Minnelli, Liz Taylor, and Michael Jackson there are some precious moments that you’ll find fulfilling. The interview with Michael Jackson at eighteen is quite thrilling. Otherwise the rise and fall of Studio 54 loses its punch. It was available on A&E so I’m unsure whether it will be repeated or on demand.
