The film Greatest Showman was a bombastic guilty pleasure disaster. But wait till you hear soundtrack Reimagined. This is similar to The Hamilton Mixtape. Get a bunch of the top of their game pop singers and have them tackle the songs. For “The Greatest Showman Reimagined” the rewards are infinite. The title track by Panic at the Disco is an infectious treat. Pink does her magic vocalizing on “A Million Dreams”. Kelly Clarkson lets her voice swell to a crescendo of lusty belts on “Never Again.” Sara Bareilles gently gives us “Tightrope”. And how thrilling to hear James Mc Arthur gives his plaintive musings on “Rewrite the Stars”. The Zac Brown Band handles “From Now On” so masterfully you’ll need a daily fix of their artistry. Finally, Kesha brilliantly rips apart “This Is Me” twice on the cd. She leaves you breathless.
