Poem of the week-Daylight

Daylight saving time

Propositioning the electorate

Crushing rays of vitamin D

Broken blinds absorb sunlight earlier

Rusted plastic loose wires disintegrate the windows

Cactus can’t breathe on fragmented light

Rubber tree plants droop

Rhythm off balance

Tormented by isolated distraction

NPR lulls the raspy morning

The printed paper slides off

Binging aches the  neck muscles

Obsessed about organization of seconds

No relaxing relief until organisms alter time

Retiring becomes exhausting
