It’s shutting off. I’ve lost all my blog writing. What the hell. OK I’m going to stay calm. Eerie quietness. I take a deep breath and turn the laptop on.Nothing. Um I wonder if the battery is dead. Ah the power cord got disconnected. I shove in back in the hole. I hear a slight rumbling. The lights flash. The screen saver pops up. Such a nice picture of the Grand Canyon. I went there with my mom right after my lover Scott died in 1989. Now let’s see if I can get back to that word file I was working on. I find the blog folder. Right click, left click.
The words “Can’t find the file.”Explode. Maybe I need to reboot. They always say that will solve a multitude of sins. Oh no. It’s taking forever to shut down. I’m not supposed to press the power button. I must use the shut-down function. What is going on? I want to throw it out the window. I hate you PC. I give up. I wish I was a drinker so I could blow off some steam heat. This is nuts. Enough of this crap. As Scarlett O’Hara said, “Tomorrow is another day.”
