This film will mess with your head as it deals with racism and capitalism in an original unique crazy fashion. Part sci-fi, fantasy, comedy and romance it never quite gets the recipe to crystalize. It doesn’t have the satisfying plot development that made 2017’s Get Out such a provocative crowd pleaser. Hats off to the exceptional cast. A good first effort for Boots Riley.
