If you want to learn about gay Los Angeles history, your go to playwright is Tom Jacobson. His most recent work closes next weekend. It’s a trilogy called “Ballad of the Bimini Baths.” I am high on the first in the trilogy called “Plunge”. A priest and the art curator of the Los Angeles County History, Art and Science meet at a museum gala.  Sparks ignite and they end up at the Bimini Baths. From there the play turns time and characters upside down. Thrilling and confusing if you don’t pay attention. The set is super in creating the baths. This is must see theater.
