Mary Shelley Film

I found Mary Shelley to be gripping escapist fare. I was transported back to merry old England populated with the dashing Douglas Booth as the poet Percy Shelley, the delicious Tom Sturridge as Lord Byron, and the brilliant Elle Fanning as Mary Shelley. This background about the creator of Dr. Frankenstein is juicy melodramatic fun. The feminist spin gives this barebones script some spine.
